MY RESUME!
I am a product designer with a BS in UX Design from the University of Michigan. I'm from near Chicago, IL! My professional interests include UI/UX & Product Design, UX Research, graphic & branding design, and anything visual arts!
Besides design, some things I love include drawing and painting, playing guitar, dancing, knitting/crocheting, and making niche playlists.
I've always been fascinated by the intersection of design and functionality to build environments, digital or physical. I enjoy the opportunities that come with creative problem solving to envision and create digital spaces and I aim to balance at the threshold of beauty and practicality in the digital world.
My website logo is my Chinese name 蕾, or "lei." Lei means flower bud, and the three Chinese radicals that make it up are grass, rain, and field. My connection with my culture and nature are often reflected in my creative work! My Chinese name can be found as a hand-carved stamp signature on a few of my paintings; this is a practice used in traditional Chinese art that I have adopted.
